新常委与记者见面：胡锦涛歪打正着

苹果日报报道，2002年十六大，胡介绍当时最老的新常委罗干，称罗是「我们的老大哥」，英文翻译是「He is our big brother」，现场外国记者大为错愕。专家指，英文「Big brother」意思是「Any person that seems to want to control people's lives and restrict their freedom」(想控制人民生活和限制人民自由的人)，有「黑社会老大」之意，岂能不令人错愕?

阿波罗网看法，胡锦涛不过是歪打正着，政法委就是「Big brother」。
